EGW Solutions was founded by Evan Welch, a Lubbock-based commercial credit professional with nearly a decade of experience managing commercial credit risk, accounts receivable and collections.
Evan spent approximately nine years as Credit Manager for a large distribution company. During his tenure, annual company sales grew from approximately $170 million to $350 million. He led credit operations through that growth while maintaining bad debt below 0.10% of sales and managing a team responsible for a substantial commercial receivables portfolio.
His experience spans the full commercial-credit lifecycle, including credit applications, account setup, credit limits, personal guarantees, aging review, collection strategy, payment arrangements, disputes and escalation procedures. His construction-credit experience includes navigating state-specific notice requirements, monitoring lien and bond-claim deadlines, preserving claim documentation and coordinating with legal counsel when necessary. He has also handled NSF checks, bankruptcies, small-claims matters, customer deductions, joint-check arrangements and other complex collection situations.

Education
Practical Scope
Evan earned both of his business degrees from Texas Tech University: a Master of Business Administration from the Rawls College of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance (Cum Laude).
His experience includes commercial credit evaluation, account setup, credit limits, aging review, collection strategy, documentation, dispute resolution, risk management and team leadership across complex B2B sales cycles.
